Rev. George A. Hardy has a passion for studying, preaching and teaching the word of God. Rev. Hardy graduated from Vision International College in California with a Bachelors in Theology. Later he attended Trinity University to attain his Masters degree in Christian Counseling. His love for God's people and compassion for the lost both locally and abroad can be seen throughout his life and his ministry. Rev. Hardy is the 11th Episcopal district Sons of Alley Men's Ministry Assistant Coordinator and South Conference Coordinator. He is very instrumental in designing and implementing men's ministry to enhance the community and church. His desire is to see God's love have a dynamic, life changing impact in each community, city, state, country and ultimately the world.


Rev. Hardy put plans in place to for collaborations and partnerships throughout the community and County, beginning with the City of Oakland Park, in the "Touring Oakland Park" champagne, partnering to established the seniors daycare program and the overflow of after school care programs. Rev. Hardy initiated the purchase of a new church vans to empower the positive movement of the church. C.A.R.E., Inc. (Community, Awareness, Resource and Empowerment) was formed to manage several programs in the church including: Before & After School Program, Senior Activity Program, Meals on wheels, Feeding South Florida, Progressive Athletic Mentoring Program, and others.

With Marketplace Rev. George Hardy:

  • Provides for the needs of employees, clients, patients, families and friends that are hurting, struggling, sick, have lost loved ones or are now looking for a new direction.

  • He offers religious and spiritual guidance

Mount Zion A.M.E. Church of Oakland Park is a medium-sized church located in Oakland Park, FL. Our church is associated with the African Methodist Episcopal Church (AME).
